About Constructioner WebTechnology

What is Constructioner?

This Content Management Software provides a ready to use backoffice to create and administrate database-connected websites within a powerful WYSIWYG Content Management Software System .

Who uses Constructioner?

Web Designer will be able to build up web applications with dynamic functionalities, even without any programming skills! Advanced Coders will find useful PHP interfaces to integrate their own code, based on a sophisticated backoffice engine. Finally, Content Manager will be able to administrate websites without special trainings by using this content management software.

System Requirements

Required (server-side):

Note: To provide the upload of large files for content managing via HTTP within the backoffice of the software, the time-limit-configuration in your php.ini has to be adjusted accordingly.

Required (client-side for Backoffice use):

Installing Constructioner software

  1. Unzip the file "constructioner_2_7_x.zip".
     
  2. Copy all folders and files (which are located INSIDE the folder) to your webserver directory:
     
  3. Alter the access authorization for web-browser access to the following:
     
  4. Make available an MySQL™ database with an arbitrary name:

    Normally, a database is provided to you within the scope of your web hosting agreement. Ask your provider for help, if necessary. Note: During the setup process all existing records of the database will be deleted!

    Important: Do not import the Constructioner sql-file directly to the database (e.g. via phpMyAdmin), because this process has to be managed by the Constructioner setup process!
     
  5. Configure the File "config.inc.php":
     
    Open the file "config.inc.php" with a pure text editor and configure the basic settings (further details can be found directly inside the file):

    6. Save the file and upload it to the server directory.

  6. Verification of the start file

    Verify whether your webserver is able to identify the file "index.php" as a start-file. Thereby the URL "http://www.yourdomain.com/backoffice/" will automatically open "http://www.yourdomain.com/backoffice/index.php".
     
  7. Start Constructioner SETUP:

    After finishing steps 1 to 6 you can start the SETUP process by opening the URL "http://www.yourdomain.com/backoffice/index.php" with your web browser (we recommend to use Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer).
       

Public Access Key

In order to enable efficient evaluation of the software, Constructioner development software is delivered for free - with full "Backoffice" functionality and no time limit for usage.

Exept for the Constructioner Light Edition, an URL-specific "Public Access Key" has to be entered inside the already installed software within the "Preferences" menu, in order to provide open access to the application.

Security Measures

License Agreement

Installing and using the Constructioner assumes that the Constructioner license agreement has been read and accepted by all users of the software. The license agreement will be displayed during the setup process automatically. Additionally it can be opened any time, by clicking the appropriate hyperlink within the footer of the backoffice login panel.

The usage of any above mentioned third party software is subject to the according license agreement of the respective owners.

Was ist Constructioner?

Dieses Content Management System ermöglicht die Erstellung und Wartung von Webseiten über ein fertigen Backoffice-Interface mit integriertem WYSIWYG Content Management System.

Wer benutzt Constructioner?

Webdesigner können damit Websites mit dynamischen Funktionalitäten entwickeln, sogar ohne Programmierkenntnisse! Programmierer nutzen die zahlreichen PHP Schnittstellen, um eigenen Code zu integrieren, aufbauend auf einer anspruchsvollen Backoffice-Engine. Content Manager sind in der Lage, ohne spezielle Einschulungen, komplexe Websites mit diesem Content Management System zu verwalten.

Systemvoraussetzungen

Anforderungen (server-seitig):

Anmerkung: Für den Upload größerer Dateien oder Bilder via HTTP über das Backoffice der Software, sollte dementsprechend das Zeitlimit für die Ausführung von PHP-Scripts angepasst werden.

Anforderungen (client-seitig für Backofficezugang):

Installationsvorgang

  1. Entpacken Sie die Datei "constructioner_2_7_x.zip".
     
  2. Kopieren Sie alle Ordner und Dateien (die sich INNERHALB des Ordners befinden) in Ihr Webserververzeichnis:
     
  3. Ändern Sie für folgende Verzeichnisse die Schreib- und Leserechte für Internet-Browser:
     
  4. Legen Sie eine beliebige MySQL™ Datenbank an.

    Eine Datenbank wird Ihnen in der Regel von Ihrem Provider im Rahmen Ihrer WebHosting-Vereinbarung zur Verfügung gestellt, bei Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Provider. Hinweis: Im Zuge des Setup-Prozesses werden alle bestehenden Datenbankinhalte gelöscht!

    Wichtig: Importieren Sie das Constructioner sql-file NICHT direkt in die Datenbank (also z.B. via phpMyAdmin), weil dieser Vorgang vom automatischen Setup-Prozess durchgeführt werden muss!
     
  5. Konfigurieren Sie die Datei "config.inc.php":
     
    Öffnen Sie die Datei "config.inc.php" mit einem reinen Texteditor und konfigurieren Sie die Basis-Einstellungen (weitere Informationen finden Sie direkt in der Datei):

    6. Sichern Sie die Datei und legen Sie diese wieder in das Server-Verzeichnis.

  6. Überprüfung der Startdatei:

    Überprüfen Sie, ob Ihr Webserver die Datei "index.php" als Startdatei erkennt. Dadurch wird z.B. bei der Eingabe "http://www.ihredomain.com/backoffice/" automatisch die Datei "http://www.ihredomain.com/backoffice/index.php" geöffnet.
     
  7. Starten Sie das SETUP:

    Wenn Sie die Punkte 1 bis 6 durchgeführt haben, können Sie den Setup-Prozess starten. Öffnen Sie dazu in Ihrem Internet-Browser den URL "http://www.ihredomain.com/backoffice/index.php" (wir empfehlen Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.5 oder neuer zu verwenden).
       

Public Access Key

Um Constructioner ausgiebig testen zu können, wird die Software zur Entwicklung gratis und in vollem Umfang ausgeliefert, ohne zeitliche Begrenzung der Nutzungsdauer.

Für die öffentliche Freischaltung der Applikation wird (ausgenommen bei der Constructioner Light Edition) ein URL-spezifischer "Public Access Key" benötigt, der in der bereits installierten Software im Menü "Einstellungen" eingetragen werden muss.
